THE 40TH BAJA ESPAÑA ARAGÓN UNDERWAY

On Thursday, the auditorium of the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Teruel hosted the official presentation of the 40th edition of the Baja España Aragón, a round of the FIA Cross Country Baja World Cup, FIM Baja World Cup and the Spanish Cross Country Rally Championship.

The event was attended by Manuel Blasco, Minister of Environment and Tourism of the Government of Aragon, Enrique Gómez, Subdelegate of the Government in Teruel, Joaquín Juste, President of the Provincial Council of Teruel, Emma Buj, Mayor of Teruel, as well as Manuel Aviñó, President of the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation and Xavier Bartrolí, President of Octagon Esedos, among other public officials.

Nasser Al-Attiyah and Tosha Schareina, winners of the 2023 edition, participated in the presentation prior to the official start of the Baja España Aragón.

Manuel Blasco (Regional Minister of Environment and Tourism of the Government of Aragon): “Sport and culture have become two engines of the community and the effort we make on behalf of the administrations is a must.”

Emma Buj, (Mayor of Teruel): “For us as a city and province, the Baja Aragón is a point of reference and makes Teruel the center of motoring.”

Manuel Aviñó (President of the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation): “The Baja España Aragón is the best Baja in the World Cup for its quality, for its history. The Baja España Aragón is the best event in the Spanish Cross Country Rally Championship.”

Xavier Bartrolí (President of Octagon Esedos): “The Baja represents a great pride for this community and this country because this is Aragon DNA and is part of the concept of success because it generates wealth through sport and tourism”.
